After an annoyingly wet, but mild winter, we have finally had a splattering of Snow!
Controversially, I was rather pleased when I saw the first fluffy white sparkly flakes falling from the sky. I know i’s rather inconvenient and troublesome for some and I appreciate how frightening it can be for elderly people so obviously, I sympathise.
I still cant help but feel mildly satisfied Though, now that snow has finally fallen. Winter…
…has finally arrived!
Until the winter is truly upon us, something just doesn’t feel right. How can spring truly begin, if we haven’t had a real winter with real snow, frozen cars and shiny icicles!!!
So, for the next couple of days, we can watch our children spring to life and in our house, this actually means my Hubby! Before the heavy snow has even fallen, I have heard him asking our youngest where the sledges are! His snowboarding trousers are already warming up on the radiator and I’m sure the rest of the snow gear will soon be lined up, ready to go out of the front door.
I have had my toasty shower and climbed into my cosy p.j’s, my daughter is praying that school tomorrow will be closed and my hubby’s body is secretly preparing for the bumps and bruises that will probably adorn his body by this time tomorrow!
Whatever you do tomorrow in the snow, wrap up, be careful but have stack and stacks of fun on the first Snow Day of 2013!
