I woke up bright and early, as always, even though I’m sure one should really have a lie in on a Saturday morning!
To be fair though, 7am on a Saturday and Sunday morning is probably my favourite time of the day. Everyone is still in bed so I sit with my toast and smoothie in complete silence…
… Bliss!
This, however, was not to last! At 8am on the dot, the sound of road drilling shook the entire house! This dreadful noise continued for several hours and shattered my perfectly peaceful Saturday morning. Thank you Mr Roadworks Man! I hope your neighbours have a very loud, very late party the next time you are trying to get some peace and quiet!
