I needed something to cheer me up after a week of moany people and preparing for an important inspection at work!
The inspection was a breeze! We passed with flying colours, phew! I always breath a huge sigh of relief when that’s out of the way for another year!
We have friends coming over on friday evening to help me celebrate my impending birthday! We are planning to watch the England match, eat far too much chinese food and get very drunk!
My eldest daughter is coming to Dinner on sunday which is great. She is a pleasure to cook for, as even though I am not the best cook in the world, she always eats every last scrap!
I then have a lunch date planned on my birthday, with one of my gorgeous friends, who’s birthday is on the same day! (just a few years later!) So I have a nice week ahead.
The highlight of my week though, was yesterday afternoon when my brothers wonderful girlfriend, sent me two pictures of their beautiful baby scan. I immediately filled with tears and ran around the office showing everyone! I will never forget seeing that first picture of my soon to be niece or nephew. It absolutely made my day! all thats left to do now…
…is go baby clothes shopping!!!
