Lucky Ol’ Me!

Friday 1st November, was my Mother-in-laws birthday. She was actually born in the witching hour, so suffers a torrent of abuse about being a witch, every year from her adoring son, i.e: my naughty Hubby! Thankfully, she doesn’t take offence at this, as she is now used to it!

Saturday, we went to her favourite chinese restaurant to help her celebrate. Her Hubby, My Hubby’s little Sis  (my little Sis-in-law), her Hubby and our Nephew came too. It’s a while since we’ve seen them, so I was looking forward to a catch up.

Both me and my little Sis-in-law are usually the designated drivers, so tonight, we decided we were going to treat ourselves to a little tipple! After several glasses of wine, she was utterly hilarious!  She has the funniest laugh I think I have ever heard and I think a good night was had by all. Well, I say all, but I’m sure my 13-year-old Nephew could think of more entertaining ways to spend his saturday night!

Anyway, I  have concluded that one of the really cool things about a, being married and b, having a brother, is that I have gained two sisters! As a child, I desperately wanted a sister, although I wouldn’t swap my Big Bro for all the world! So how lucky am I that I now have two! Both of them completely different, but absolutely lovely, I am a very lucky girl!
