50 Shades Of Intrigue…

I am sure that most accomplished writers would never allow themselves to read such a book as 50 Shades of Grey. I though, am not an accomplished writer.  I am not a bright english student, nor am I an arty farty writer with literary capability beliefs beyond my ability.  I write, because I enjoy it. It’s as simple as that.

So, I decided that it was time for me to see what all the fuss was about…

… My opinion on what the book would be about was shattered almost as soon as I began reading. This book is not a story about kinky, sado masochistic sex, as I thought it would be. Yes, there are elements of that in the book and I guess I can see why some women may want to read this book in private! For me though, there is a love story being told. There are secrets to be unveiled.

I find this book very easy to read.  The author has a lovely style of writing and I find her choice of words for certain areas of the body rather amusing!

I am just over half way through this book now and for me it is just starting to get interesting. Obviously sex is a big part of this book, so those that are a little prudish may not want to read it. For me though, I am intrigued by why this man who appears to be so perfect, is the way that he is.  All is quite clearly, not what it seems. For me, this book is the start of a love story, quite a complex love story that will change two people’s lives forever and I cannot wait to continue reading…
