Well its official, spring is in sight. It is the 1st day of March, the day I, along with the rest of the UK, has been waiting for since 31st December! Yes, the gloomy depths of January & February are finally over… Or at least they should be, but this is not exactly the case!! Unless you are in a coma or you are sipping cocktails on a nice hot beach somewhere, you will be fully aware that it’s snowing and has been for the last couple of days. So, today I am having a snow day.
My car is dreadful in the snow and one of the perks of working for your husband, means you get to take a day off when your car quite literally make you fear for your life. π
Well so far this morning, I have dealt with a frozen washing machine pipe, hauled the sopping wet, un-spun washing of my daughters to my moms. Amongst these sopping wet items was my daughters very heavy Judo Gi which has broken my Moms washing machine and is now covered in sludge! Adding stress to my already stressed Mom wasn’t really my plan this morning.
Last week my dad suffered a mini stroke. He is doing great now, but extra stress is obviously best avoided.
My Mom and I are going with the girls to see ’50 Shades’ tonight, so hopefully that will help to put the Spring in our step π x
