I decided to give my weary pins a bit of a rest today, in order for them to be fully recharged for my Monday morning run.

My day, however, was still rather full! It began with the dreaded mission of washing, drying & straightening my hair. After this, I had to face the arduous task of tidying up downstairs. This proved to be quite a mission after spending Saturday evening stuffing my face full of crisps & chocolate.

Next on the list, get petrol, pick up the kid, make the bed, tidy up after Hubby, then set off to see my Dad for Father’s Day. This was a treat as my Mom and eldest Daughter had returned the night before from Paris with presents! Presents that mostly consisted of delicious, fancy, posh, French chocolate! I selected the most decadent bar of smooth dark chocolate and proceeded to dunk it in my cup of tea! How very uncouth of me!!! Oh who cares, it was divine!

Once home with Hubby and Youngest Daughter out cleaning their cars and learning to drive, I grabbed the blanket from out of the ottoman and curled up on the settee to watch a film of my choice in complete peace!

The Perfect Sunday afternoon and I’ll run tomorrow….

…. promise! 🙂
