… and what a busy couple of weeks it’s been!
My bff has been an absolute godsend over the last two weeks. She has accompanied me in the wind and rain at night and at the break of dawn, to several last minute shopping expeditions.
Work has been super chaotic and the Christmas preparations have left me more exhausted than I have ever felt in my entire life. Though our office party last weekend, was a huge success and has left me with many amusing memories.
Finally, my Big bro and his family arrived from Sydney this morning so I had a long awaited cuddle from my wonderful niece. Well, it wasn’t reciprocated on her part, she was a very tired little poppet after an extremely long flight and a very long, overwhelming day. But, just having her here for Christmas, will mean that it is the best Christmas ever!
Earlier I was presented with a card that my hubby had made, it was very sweet, especially given the fact that I had ruined his card earlier in the week and forgotten to buy him a new one! Now, He and I are finally sitting
down and the girls are in bed. At 16 & 20, it’s actually easier to get them to go to sleep, than when they were tiny. So with a glass of wine in hand, I can finally relax and look forward to tomorrow.
