I have been extremely neglectful of my blog of late. This is due to a wonderful holiday to New York & Barbados and a completely chaotic return to work combined with the hectic run up to christmas.
Today though, is my day off, so after my morning nail and hair appointments, I had planned to finish wrapping my mountain of Christmas presents, or at least make a good dent in it. This, so far though, has not gone to plan!
The carpet fitter’s turned up just after 1pm and are still here, at 3.30pm. I can’t get up the stairs to get the presents to start wrapping and at some point this afternoon, I have to go into work. This is not the day that I had planned at all. It’ll be another evening of cleaning up and collapsing on the sofa.
Thank goodness I still have a few days to get everything done. My Big bro and his family will be here on christmas eve and by then, I should be ready! Iv never looked forward to christmas so much in my life! Only 4 more sleeps until Christmas Eve and I cannot wait! x
