Last night while hubby and I were engrossed in an episode of Breaking Bad, we got side tracked for a few minutes and started talking about some of the things that happened just after we met.

Isn’t it odd that the sometimes insignificant little things we do, sometimes the silly or even crazy decisions that we make when we are younger, can serve as happy memories, years down the line. Things, that at the time, we didn’t give a second thought to.

I think this is proof that we need to embrace the good and the bad things that life throws at us. It is after all, the little things added together that shape our future.

I chose to grow old with someone a long time ago and I still choose him today. This is not just because of the all the nice things he’s done, it is because I love him enough to put up with all the things he does that annoy or have upset me.

I think we are lucky if we find someone who feels the same way. X
