Round two of the 40th birthday celebrations kicked off on saturday, as today, one of my bestest buddies, actually he’s my Hubby’s bff, is 40!
With the glorious sunshine beaming down on us, a mini garden party/bbq was successfully thrown by his Mom & Dad.
This was followed by a very lazy day on sunday, while the boys and the kids had a fab time in the pool.
Yesterday, He and my Hubby went to Bedford, to race their naughty little lotus round the track. This time, she was very good. She managed a whole day of racing without the steward being called out to tow her back to the pits!
Tonight we will give him his pressie‘s before making our way to our local Curry House, where no doubt, we will stuff our faces until we can barely move!
Friday, they are back on the track. This time to Donnington Park, for another day of whizzing around, pretending to be Lewis Hamilton & Nico Rosberg!
Then finally, on Saturday evening, the Birthday Boy, my Hubby, his Wife (who is also my bff) and little old Me, are going for a fancy pants meal in Brindley Place, where we can raise a glass and say…
… “HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY!”
