We are on our way to London, to see Billy Elliot. It is the start of a week full of lovely birthday celebrations that I am lucky enough to share with my family and wonderful friends.
Iv decided that I am now very young, at almost 40, as, aside from one child, I am probably one of the youngest people on here!
The coach is crammed full of elderly folk eating their homemade sarnies and noisy crisps.
My best friend is glued to her iPad, a technology that is drawing puzzling stares from some of the more elderly passengers and my Mother and friend have not taken a breath since we boarded over an hour ago. Jeez, I though I could talk but if gossiping was an Olympic sport, they would win the gold medal!
The rain is pounding on the roof of the coach now and it’s turned eerily dark, so I think that’s my queue for a power nap! X

Isn’t the iPad so addictive? I have another tablet and it keeps me entertained throughout my trip from town to the city. No elderly folk on my train ride though, even though there may be “some” old folk on the train (the tube) π I still love my peace and quiet when travelling. Even if I do have my latest John Grisham waiting in the wings!
