My Little Girls Prom!

Today is the day…

… In half an hour, I will be picking my daughter up from school, so she can start to get ready for her ‘Prom.’

I have pot noodles for us both, waiting by the kettle. Her Shoes, plasters (for impending blisters). bag, ticket, earrings, necklace and money are all lined up by the mirror upstairs.

At 1.30, we will make our way to the hairdressers for her hair to be pampered and styled to perfection.

The dress will be unveiled at the very last minute before we dash round to her boyfriend for a quick cheesy photo!

Finally at 5pm, we will make our way to her friends pre-prom party for drinks and more photos.  The 7 gorgeous girls will then shuffle into the limo that will take them to their prom…

I can’t quite believe that they are leaving school. My baby girl, almost 16!
