After a very naughty lunch, consisting of a Gourmet Burger & Chips, I kissed my daughter goodbye and popped on a bus further into town to look for a birthday present for my other daughters friend.

By the time I made it to the shops, my feet were hurting and my bladder was set to explode!

I knew what needed to be done!  A quick dash into Urban Outfitters should do the trick…

…Hmmm, I had absolutely no idea what to buy! OOH!  I spotted a pretty summery dress in the vintage section of the store.  A quick dash to the fitting room and I was £45 poorer!

Still no birthday present!  Woops! ‘It’s fine,’ I thought, ‘Ill have a look online when I get home!’

I decided I couldn’t possibly walk all the way back to the bus stop so in the taxi I went!

Not a bad day so far, a nice lunch, a pretty little dress and no man at home tonight to cook tea for! My younger daughter then asked me if we could have chinese for tea!  This was something that had become quite a tradition whenever ‘Daddy’ was working away.  Fortunately for my waistline, he doesn’t work away very often!

My friend came to join us for a good old feast of King Prawn Battered Balls, Special Fried Rice, Spring Rolls and Prawn Toast! Yum Yum!

What a day! The sun has shone, I have eaten like a Queen, all that is left to do is shower, put my PJ’s on, snuggle up with my baby, then go to bed!

The Bottom of a Bottle

Trust me, I've been there, I've looked, I've searched and I know now, that there are no answers to be found in the bottom of a bottle or on the edge of a blade! Fighting Hard, Recovering, Rebuilding, REBORN. Moving on from addiction to a new life.
