Tuesday morning I woke with one of those awful headaches that feels like it’s pressing on the back of your eyes and nose! My sinuses were bunged up, my eyes were heavy and my ‘morning run’ was looking very unappealing! I, very un-enthusiastically, changed into my running gear and started to run. I felt pretty rubbish so just ran a mile as fast as I could and came home. Feeling pretty pathetic, I just knew it was going to be one of those days!
After dropping off my daughter at her work experience placement, I went off into town to get my hubby some new trainers & boots. His, have holes in them! My Hubby hates shopping for clothes & shoes with a passion! I pulled into the multi story car park and proceeded to walk to the shops. It was then, that I became aware of a draft! You know that sinking feeling that you get when you forget something really important? Well, I now had that feeling! I realised that the draughtiness that I could feel, was due to the fact that I had forgotten to put on a fundamental item of clothing! Mortified, I hurried along, as quickly as I could to buy myself the item of clothing that I was missing! Fortunately, I was wearing a maxi dress. I pulled this tightly around my thighs as I climbed the escalator, praying that nobody could read the expression on my face that said…
… “I forgot to put my knickers on!”
