The week was beginning, on a rather more positive note than the previous one had ended on.
- Summer finally arrived!
- My shockingly yellow hair was toned down to a more subtle ash blonde.
- I finally received the news, that my ‘Brand New Shiny Car’ was being delivered! Hurray!
- Finally, my best friend was coming home! Hurray again!

So, Wednesday arrived and the car was delivered, late afternoon. A little nervous, but very exited, I decided to take her for a spin! Hmmm! I had opted for front and rear parking sensors so I knew she would ‘bleep‘ when she was in close proximity to something, but this was ridiculous! Constant bleeping for at least 20-30 seconds after putting the car into either park or drive! She even bleeped while being driven down the road! Not to worry, a quick call to the Dealer (make that several calls and a big winge!) and they arranged to pick up the car and leave me with a replacement while they fixed her.
By the weekend, I had my new car back in tip top condition. It was friday afternoon and the sun was set to last the whole weekend. All that was left to do now, was dig out the suntan lotion, position the Lounger, grab my book and a nice cold drink and begin the tanning and relaxation!
Several BBQ‘s, drinks with friends and half a book later and the weekend was almost over. It was sunday afternoon and it seemed to be getting hotter by the hour! Only my hubby and I were home, so we decided there was only one thing for it…
… We went skinny dipping in the pool! Well, I couldn’t possibly lie back down in a wet bikini, now could I?!!!!
Another hour baking in the sun and I decided to cool down by having a nap on the settee!
It was the perfect end to a Topsy Turvy Week!
